You'll notice purple quests scattered across the map. These are tutorial quests designed to teach mechanics. They don't grant EXP, but are fast and convenient, often overlapping with BnS NEO Classic Divine Gems your MSQ route.

Why do they? They reward Valor Stones, which are key to unlocking early skill upgrades. Collecting at least 20 should be an early priority.

Blue Side Quests: Pick Selectively

At outposts, you'll see blue quests-these are optional side quests. While not necessary for leveling, it's smart to:

Do class tutorial quests ("Way of the [Class]").

Accept side quests that reward Valor Stones.

Skip grind-heavy ones (like mass kill quests) and come back later when you can one-shot mobs.

Dungeon Tips: Run Straight to Objectives

Story dungeons appear throughout your leveling. Remember:

You don't need to clear every mob. Sprint straight to your objective, kill it, and finish the dungeon.

Avoid getting hit while running. Being hit puts you in combat and slows you. Jumping helps dodge ranged attacks.

Escape shortcut: After killing your quest target, press ESC twice to teleport back to the entrance.

Hardon's Combat Training Quests

Inside early dungeons, you'll encounter Hardon's training quests (purple). These are vital for early progression.

They grant skill points (six total).

You can skip the actual combat training by telling Hardon, "It's too hard," making them fast.

Completing all six gives you:

+5% bonus combat EXP (head accessory)

Hongmoon School card set (early stat boosts)

Skill points gained here and from leveling should go into your main mobbing skills for faster kills.

Skill Books and Green Skills

Throughout the MSQ, you'll acquire accessories and gray skill books. These enhance or modify your skills-sometimes lowering costs, other times boosting power.

At 20 Valor Stones, teleport to Yehara's Mirage in the Cinderlands to purchase your first green skill book for 1 silver.

Green skills can drastically improve leveling efficiency. For example, reducing a Blade Master's core skill cost from 3 Focus to 2 lets you chain more attacks before running out of energy.

These green skills last until BnS NEO Classic Divine Gems for sale mid-to-endgame, so they're a worthy early investment.
